New Zealand ultramarathoner Kim Allan set a world record for the longest continuous run without sleep. In 86 hours, 11 minutes, and 9 seconds, she completed 310 miles (500 kilometers) in Auckland, New Zealand. The 47-year-old Allan completed 332 laps around the Auckland Domain, a park which offered only slightly less than a mile (1.5 kilometers) per lap. (Dec 27, 2013)

Rae Heim, 18, ran barefoot 3,437.5 miles over eight months. She was the youngest person to
run solo across the U.S., She is also the first to tackle the country’s terrain barefoot.

70-Year-Old Runner Who Ran 7 Marathons on 7 Continents in 7 Days
Chau Smith 70 year old, January 25 to 31, 2017. Smith ran marathons in Perth, Australia; Singapore; Cairo, Egypt; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Garden City, New York; Punta Arenas, Chile; and King George Island, Antarctica. It's part of a challenge called Triple 7 Quest, operated by Marathon Adventures, which planned the itinerary and logistics.
